2020 Pre-heat-pump, HW3 OK
Acceptable, but verify MCU2 and HW3. A 2021 with the heat pump is the better buy if budget allows.
2021 Heat pump + refresh BUY
The Model 3 sweet spot for used — mature heat pump, best price-to-features ratio.
2022 Vision-only, mature BUY
Excellent used buy — mature, vision-only, strong value, comparable to a 2021.
2023 Final pre-Highland; HW4 phase-in OK
OK — the 2021–2022 is usually a better deal unless you specifically want HW4.
2024 "Highland" refresh BUY
If you can live with the stalkless layout, the best Model 3 yet.
